What makes this recognition even more special is the story behind our swimsuits. At Tigrilo, every piece is more than fashion — it’s a celebration of Peruvian artistry, Amazonian inspiration, and women’s resilience. Our designs are handcrafted in collaboration with Shipibo-Konibo artisans in Lima, whose beadwork and ancestral motifs breathe life into each collection.

This year’s feature also shines a spotlight on our collaboration with Hoja Nueva, a conservation and wildlife rehabilitation center in the Peruvian Amazon. Together, we created a collection inspired by the wildcats and ecosystems they protect — a reminder that fashion can be a force for good. With every swimsuit, a portion of sales supports Hoja Nueva’s vital work to protect rainforest habitats and rehabilitate species like the ocelot (“tigrillo”), our namesake.
